Fond of Adam Lambert

I know I am a 40 year old mom but I find Adam Lambert incredibly talented and so handsome. I watch him whenever I can when he is on tv. I love listening to his music. When I drive the ipod is on and his songs may be a little louder than normal when I am alone. (Thx Itunes!)
So, if you are not a fan of his yet, you need to listen and look him up..he is a modern day Rod Stewart but without the gritty voice. He has the appeal, fashion, charm and voice of a sex symbol.
I used to be into dance and industrial music as a teen and in my twenties so I guess it would make sense for me to have this gorgeous talented man make me go gaga.
I hope it is not creepy for someone my age to find someone like him attractive. If so, oh well.

50 Cat Cards Made for Donation to Northeast Animal Rescue in Philadelphia, PA

My daughter and I made 50 cards today to give to Northeast Animal Rescue to use for donor acknowledgment cards. They asked for our help and we were happy to lend a hand. Funds used for supplies were raised by my daughter's girl scout troop. We used stamps, ink pads, glue sticks, xyron adhesive, colored pencils, copic markers, scrapbook papers, blank cards and envelopes and some buttons. This was a great service project to do because it helps a local cat rescue save more lives by saving them money.
Northeast Animal Rescue is active in the community. They spay/neuter feral fed cats and find homes for friendly strays. Looking to adopt? Check out your local Petsmart stores, animal shelters and go online on Petfinder.com. Please spay and neuter all your cats and dogs before they reach six months of age. You can also help your local cat rescue by fostering a mommy cat with kittens or orphan kittens. It is a great volunteer opportunity for the whole family to teach the value of all life especially those in need.

Smeared Ink Open Curtain Gatefold Card

I am made this card using Smeared Ink stamp images on the inside. I am a member of their rubber stamp club. I love their stamps! I used regular red cardstock from my stash and just folded it and cut to shape. I drew then painted the curtains on the front of the card. I painted the flooring of the stage and used glitter paper for backdrop inside. I colored the stamped embossed images with copic sketch markers. I lined the leopard walls (old creative memories paper from stash) with black ribbon. I hope you like this card. I do. It's crazy, sexy and fun. I am entering this card in the following challenges:
