St. Patty Gate Card

I used cardstock for the base of the card. I used the scorpal to make the two folds for the card. I used stamps from StampsN More for the cat and hat. Stickers on the cover and paper. I colored the stamped images with copies.

Heart Strings Journal Page

I love primitive art. This journal page I just did thinking of someone special.
I used Tattered Angels Glam to add some glitz. I used the marionette doll stamp by Unity Stamp that I had for awhile but never used. I sprayed the page with pink color mists. I used a pink gelato with Pebbles Inc stencil (from stash) to do the big heart and xoxo images. Sprayed with water and rubbed using my finger to make it look primitive. I rubbed the word LOVE with my finger on the bottom of the page using metallic rub ons by Craf-T Products (Made in USA). I used Tombow's red marker for writing. I used Copics for coloring marionette.
True love is raw and powerful. However, it is filled with sensitivity and soft moments followed by insatiable longing at times.

GIVE ME THE TEA ART JOURNAL PAGE

I just made this page in my art journal. I am very much a girly girl. However, I do not like to engage in gossip like most females do. I never read "celebrity" magazines, even at the salons. I despise them. Who cares about the personal lives of rich or famous people? I don't. I don't watch those celebrity news shows either.  I have no interest in their crap.
When I used to work or go to school, I was always uncomfortable with "water cooler" chatter unless it directly affected me. I feel that if people are comfortable talking about others negatively behind their backs what do they say about me when I am not there. If I can't say it to their face, I should just keep quiet.
The challenge at City Crafters Challenge Blog had a tea pot as inspiration. The stamp I used I bought off of Ebay awhile ago I think it is from Magenta.
I used Memories black ink to stamp the image. I stippled the page using Adirondak ink and TCW 6x6 damask template. I used Tattered Angels Glam, Tombow markers and black Smooch to color in the image. I used Marvy Calligraphy marker in laurel green to write the script free hand (of course for true journaling).

Ice and Snow Card

I made this card using stash I have in my craft room. The one piece of paper for the base of the card (and border) is from Paper Element in my leftover bin. The stamped image is from Whimsy Stamps with Memories black ink. I colored the images with various 3 markers from Tomboy, LePlume and Zig. I accented the card with a dimensional Snow Writer. I glitzed it up with  (1) Tattered Angels Glam Chandelier and three rhinestone  hearts. I punched the border and snowflakes using 2 punches by Martha Stewart.

A.C. with Nicole Page

I recently bought a place in Atlantic City as a getaway. I love it!
My friend Nicole and I love to party and relax there. This page is of us posing for selfies before a night out on the Boardwalk this past summer. I used some of my stash, punches and the layout sketch is from www.scrappinaroundtheclock.blogspot.com.
I am trying to get a bunch of pages completed because I am so behind in scrapbooking.

Songs of My Life Art Journal Page

I made these two pages with a list of songs that I have always liked throughout my life. It incorporates different genres of music.
At my funeral, (morbid thought for some) I want people to be happy and reflect on my life. I think a good way to reflect is through music (the songs that meant a lot to me). I have always enjoyed playing music, whether in the car, at the gym, dancing (at a club, in my kitchen or on tv (I used to dance on Dancing On Air in the 80s.), or to just reflect my moods. I even have a song I want them to play as they lower my coffin into the ground (Rockford Files Show theme song).  I am weird, I know. LOL
I used Memories black ink to stamp the Tim Holtz images (first time using them). I colored the butterflies using Copic and Tombow markers. I put gelato on the colored butterfly wings for a slightly raised effect.
I wrote the song list in my own horrible script. I think it is important to use your own handwriting no matter how atrocious it may be. It is you!

Ratty Love Card

Hi! It has been awhile since I posted any of my cards or crafts on this blog. So please, bear with me. I like to make cards that are less frivolous (flat) so I can mail them to friends and loved ones with a standard envelope and postage. This card is no exception. I enjoy using paper doilies for Christmas and St. Valentines Day cards and crafts. I used

Prismacolor pencils, gamsol, memento tuxedo black ink and a Whimsy stamp to make this card.
I have had pet rats since I had my own place in Florida. Rats are great pets. They are affectionate, cheap to keep and can be trained to do just about anything within their means. We now have a senior rat named Blue we adopted from the MSPCA. Please check your local rescue groups for available needy pets. If you can't adopt, drop off pet food or old clean towels as donation.

I plan to enter this card in the following blog challenges:
