Smeared Ink's Skull Appreciation Day Blog Hop

Today I followed Smeared Ink's Blog hop of skull creations. Bloggers showed off their bald cranial delights. I enjoyed peering into their fond expressions for skulls. It is cool to know others enjoy making  light at the darker side of life.

New Kids On The Block - Remix (I Like The)

CKC Lancaster Hear I Come!

I just booked my retreat to the CKC Convention in Lancaster, PA this year. I am going solo. I am starting out on Thursday with the preview crop to get some pages done. I got early Friday admission to the convention to shop then on to my first of 5 classes for Friday and Saturday. I am stoked! The Marriott is already booked so I got a room at a hotel about 4 miles away (14 minutes)..not bad and the price was a little cheaper (even without the supposed block discount).

I am excited to take a class with Melissa Frances again- Bookbinding 101 (I have a zutter but this class looks different than using the zutter). I love her style and products. I bought a ton at a convention in Oaks, PA recently. I love vintage Halloween and Christmas. I even have a vintage foil tree with rotating light I put up each year. Plus my vintage paper Halloween lanterns I collect- fabulous!

Can't wait for July because my birthday is coming (on the 7th) and this convention! Hoot and holla!

Please remember what Memorial Day is truly about..remembering those who died in active military service. Please give to your favorite local Veterans organization this weekend. No donation is too small. One of my favorites is Stand Down, helping local homeless veterans.

Thank you. Remember they served so you don't have to.
