This image is from Stamp N Doodle. http://stamp-n-doodle.blogspot.com/ Love it! Check out Stamp N Doodles blog- they got a freebie digi for this week's contest.
I used to be into the Philly industrail/goth scene when I was in my twenties so when I saw this image I was like "aww yeah". I made my girl on this card a hybrid- cyber punk, goth and industrial.
I used Prima Flower with metal brad, Primas Rock on Love paper and various pens- copic, leplume, sharpie and Glitter gems by american craft. I also colored in her skirt and vest with tattered angels black gold glimmer mist. I used Dimensional thick tape so the image of the girl pops and the "Rock on" oval. The photo really doesn't do this card justice bc I took it with my mac's photo booth.

MY ART GONE WILD PRIZE PACK ARRIVED!
I won the first Art Gone Wild card challenge they had recently on Facebook. I made a cute Halloween spinner card- using their clever cutts spinner card template with coordinating round Halloween stamp.
It contains: Quickie glue pen, Halloween simple squares stamp set, Fall little pics stamp set, Ek success chain edge punch,AGW paper pack for making cards, and the pink Croppin Cutie collapsible bag (for gathering scraps). Wow! What a prize!
I love AGW stamps and their convention classes.
Thank you AGW!

Adoption/ Fostering/Giving is so Rewarding!
I just wanted to write a brief blog about the need for adoption and fostering needy animals. Everyone should consider adoption and/or fostering at least once in their life. I have fostered countless animals -saving hundreds of lives plus I contribute to local rescues through donations of clean used towels, new pet food, etc. Everyone should contribute on a regular basis to help needy animals and children whether it be through active volunteering or giving much needed donations. Contact your local rescues to see how you can help them.
I also drop off new toys every year to a local charity for parents unable to make their kids' wishes. Last year, we donated two new bikes to the Salvation Army. I called to see if there were any needy families that could use them and they even came to pick them up for us at our home. I got the bikes on sale at Toys R us for only $35 each- both assembled too. I am not rich but I believe as long as I give to those less fortunate I shall always receive. I have been this way since a child and have yet to go a day without food like some ppl have to. I worked at a shelter for abused children one summer when I was in my early twenties and was surprised to find that a lot of the children never had a bike of their own. When I was a little girl my bike was like my car is today- a necessity for transportation.
So, please put some money away now so you too can do your part this year to make someone or some rescue a little happier/bearable. The best part is, you don't know the recipients and they don't know you- u just do it bc it is the right thing to do. You will be far happier too.
Smiles!

Warm Wishes Card with Stamp n Doodle free image
I just made this card with another free image from Stamp n Doodle. There images are very cool- and VERY usable. It's a pretty winter scene on a farm. I am a night person so I thought I would accent only the moon and the night sky with color in this image. I love the way my yard looks in the night after a good snow- everything is white and glistening. So, I used Tattered Angels champagne Glam all over the card where the snow is to make it glisten (hard to see in the pic- sorry, I use my mac's photo booth to take images- too lazy to keep pulling out my nikon.) I also used Tattered Angels Midnight blue glimmer mist on the sky- I painted it on the image (and on the card background and prima flower so it's sparkles). For the moon to glisten I used my lemon Atyou Spica glistening pen. I used a Doodlebug white sugar coated brad to hold the flower in place-it sparkles too. Creative Memories quilt paper and stickers(I wrote warm wishes on the stickers.) and DCWV black rub on stitches. All from my stash- so happy I FINALLY got use this old CM Cozy quilt gift pack- I just looked at the copyright- 2005!

Good Friends Never Go out of Style
I used Stamp n Doodles free digital image on this card. I finally used Amy butler stickers I had won years ago from a crop- again, using my stash.
When i go out with friends I usually put my purse on the floor; however, recently I heard that is bad luck. hmmm? When I buy purses I usually only buy ones with "feet" on the bottom bc of my floor habit (unless I get a small one). My hubby probably wouldn't approve of this habit knowing how much I spend on purses. Thankfully Coach sends me coupons periodically. lol

Spooky Bag
Well I am hosting my annual Halloween party in October so I find it only fitting in my search to use my stash to make something for it. I have had a pack of paper bags in my craft room for a couple years now. I bought them to make paper bag scrapbooks- still have a ton left. I just made a party bag for one of the lil monsters attending the party that may win a game. I have kids ranging from 2-14 years old this year. This bag would be great for a toddler.
I used Pholkart Blessing's free digi on it. So cute! I sprayed the bag with T. A. Black Gold Glimmer mist. and added a cute brad from Around the Block (I have had this Halloween set of brads for years). I also used my old Glitter Gems markers by American Craft I have had for at least 3 years now.

Cupcake Craft sketch #108 & Digi Doodle #24 Challenges
http://cupcakecraftchallenges.blogspot.com/2010/09/challenge-108-sketch.html
http://digidoodleshopsbest.blogspot.com/2010/09/charm-me-challenge-24.html
I made this card to submit to both digi Doodle challenge #24 Charm me and Cupcake Challenge Sketch Challenge #108.
I love images of portly women- yes, perhaps I'm weird but I think they are so adorable. Far cuter than the images of skinny women. This cute gal is a stamper! How about that? A stamp of a stamper (inky antics)...The charm I used is from my stash too- Queen & Co.

Golden Anniversary Card Repeat Impressions Sketch S810
I just made a Golden Anniversary card for my in laws. I can't believe they have been together for 50 years. I don't know how my mother in law puts up with my father in law- he's a good man but boy, he really gets on my nerves sometimes. I could not imagine spending 50 years with him.
I am surprised I am still married. I wasn't never the type of girl to have a long steady boyfriend. I always dated a lot but after dating my husband for awhile I knew he was the ONE. We still laugh everyday and I can honestly say he is my best friend. I hope we reach 50 years together too (been together for over 10 but wed only 8 years).
I used Repeat Impressions Sketch S810 for the layout of the card.
I used an Inky Antic stamp, Stamp craft paw print stamp, Queens gold embossing powder for the paws, prismacolor pencils, Tattered Angels Gold glimmer mist and DCWV gold paper. I used my MAC camera to take the photo- so excuse the poor image- it's backwards. doh!

Wedgie Witch card TMS #58
Hi! Well, I must confess along with other things, I am a marker junkie. So this card has many different types of markers used on it. I used Copic, Spica atyou, American Crafts Glitter gems, Sharpies, EK Success Writers, and LePlume markers. I used a bat ribbon and for the glitter swirl I used Tattered Angels new Glam- chandelier.
I bought this witch rubber stamp at the StampScrapArt tour convention in Oaks, PA.
I am entering this card in the Tuesday morning sketch challenge #58 and Two Peas in a Pod Finally Friday challenge this week.
