Stamped Spider Transparency

Ok, Halloween is my favorite holiday. Yippee! Why you asked? How could I love it more than Christmas?  Simple Halloween is fun, with less stress, less traveling, dark, scary images, costumes, etc.

I made these spiders on a transparent sheet using Tattered Angels spiders stamps, staz on ink, Glimmer Glam and CTMH bitty sparkles for the eyes. I plan to stick these cool spiders on my windows and the glass of my built in China cabinet. They will be cut out individually.
I plan to enter these stamped spiders in the following challenges:

Skully Treat Boxes

I just finished stamping my little skully treat boxes for my Halloween party. I used a halloween holiday stamp set from martha stewart that came with the ink too. Do like it?

Halloween Kids Party Table

I made candy apples, a large chocolate rat (using candy mold) and he has org jellybeans as rat droppings. lol My daughters loved it and so did their guests.

Jar lids Repurposed for holding candy on my mantel

I repurposed a few jars that would otherwise go into the recyclable bin for my county pick up. I placed them on my mantel filled with various halloween treats. I decorated the lids with halloween scrapbook paper and ribbon. I also placed some cool alchemy stickers on the side of the jars. If you look at previous blog postings, there is a pic of my dining room mantel posted with the jars. I have 3 fireplaces in my home but I only put the candy jars on this one.

Fastest foam spider ever

I bought this cheap big foam spider to dangle from my ceiling. I added black fiber from awesomealbums.com, onyx Martha stewart glitter and kaisercraft rhinestones for eyes. simple project to have done as a decoration for my daughter's halloween party thisFriday.

Coffin Lid in Progress

I painted this coffin lid black then spray painted with tattered angels glimmer mist. It is a work in progress..added some webbing, splattered blood (using my Martha Stewart  splatter punch) and added a couple of stickers. I hope to complete this coffin tomorrow with some stamped images in side and a skeleton.

Tattered Ceramic Lighted Skull

I bought this large ceramic skull at a craft store. It was white. I painted it with Tattered Angels Black Gold. I plan to display it on my table in my dining room with an electric light inside so the eyes and nose glow eerily. I think the spray I used gives it an eerie and old appearance. I really like it.

Halloween wreath for office door

I made this wreath in literally 15 minutes for my friend Jen to put on her office door at work. I used black gold glimmer mist, ribbon, black bling, twine and a glittery spider with foam wreath. Not too creepy but definitely festive for Halloween.

Wednesday, October 3, 2012

Here is a Halloween wreath I made about a week ago. I got the idea from the domestic goddess- Martha Stewart. I used moss. I sprayed a cheap plastic skeleton with black gold tattered angels glimmer mist and added some glittery black spiders. I have it hanging on the front door inside my vestibule.

Halloween party 2012 invitations

I made some invitations to my 2012 Haloween party using a Tim Holtz UM stamp of a skeleton. gut them out then glued some black glitter glue in the eye sockets. Tied a (jute twine) noose around each the their necks and hung them from the top of the stamped halloween paper (5x7). I put the party info on the back and mailed them to potential guests (victims of ghoulish fun). Like em?
